They finally sorted out my problem to my satisfaction.

Those who told me I was wasting my time were not far off the mark, but at least it got there in the end.

Glad to hear it. It would be interesting to know what deal you got if you don't mind revealing it. Did you get the $140 you requested in the mail you posted in one of the Empire-threads?

Effectively I got given the $100 second bonus without having to play the hands.

The final support member I got was actually understanding, and although getting a deal was still like pulling teeth, they at least started to reply quicker and talk in a language that made sense whilst trying to be objective at the same time.

They told me that I would not have to play the hands to recieve the 10% up to $100 bonus, and to e-mail them after I had deposited it $1000, so I did, and they didn't. I play 8 tables anyways and I only have rakeback at one site, so to play 4 at any of the party skins where I don't have rakeback wasn't a big deal, however they still skimped out on just giving me $100 like they promised.

Anyways my money is all in Party and Coral/Eurobet now, and will only return to Empire for a bonus.

I say, Lori dear, since you're on such good terms with Empire's "Customer Care" folks, would you please ask them to stop the *&^%$%&%$# "minutes to next tournament" pop-ups that are FAR more vexing to me than the bonus issue??? I complained and they basically told me to get stuffed, but then I don't have as good a working relationship with them as, uh, some people. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

btw - I'm happy for you as well Lori.
I also had my situation settled to my satisfaction and I sent them an e-mail thanking them and saying that I would continue to bring my business there and that I believed they made a good-faith effort to make-up for the previous screw-ups.
