Default Pocket Kings on a drawing board.

Hero is BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Preflop 3 folds , MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero bets , MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop (12 SB) 6 players.

4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB checks, Hero bets , MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn (11 BB) 5 players.

SB bets, Hero folds...

Is this ok? Villian is betting into a field of 5 and I am drawing thin, if not dead.

I check the flop, your bet isn't gonna fold anyone, and the board is draw happy, looks like a clear wait till the turn to protect hand

fold the turn is fine, unless the SB is really erratic

I had an overpair and a backdoor flush draw. I'm not completely bought on the idea of checking the flop. Even if a blank hits the turn and I bet out no one is folding a flush draw, or OESD IMO. It's going to be difficult to protect my hand on any streets.

Folding the turn in spots like this is something I'm working on. Just glad to see I'm not being weak-tight here.

Do not check the flop here haha. What if it gets checked through? Do you really want to give a free card away?

I disagree with bottomset's advice here.
