Re: QTs in LP, How is this line?
You really played this backwards.
That's a monster flop for you - raise it up, cap if necessary. With a semi-coordinated board and 2 potential overcards, it's not the end of the world if you scare him away, but he's probably not folding anyway on this board unless he's on a complete bluff. |

Re: QTs in LP, How is this line?
This line is ugly.
Preflop: good. You have a decent hand, and go for the steal. BB calls your steal, so you can figure he doesn't have much...maybe ace-rag, a small to mid pair, or two suited cards. Flop: why did you just call? You have top pair but not much of a kicker, a strong flush draw and a backdoor straight draw. You'd just as soon end this right here before an ace or king falls to counterfeit your queens, so RAISE. If 3-bet, cap. Turn: one of the scariest cards in the deck for you falls, Villan bets into you, and NOW you raise? River: uh, the call is fine, cuz I'd hate to get 3-bet, here, but I told you you wanted to raise the flop. |

Why would you just call when you have the best hand and raise when you probably are behind?

Re: QTs in LP, How is this line?
Raise and cap maybe the flop, Call down if he keeps showing aggression from the river on.

Re: QTs in LP, How is this line?
I would raise the flop here. Just call on the turn. I'd likely raise the river as well unless he was very aggressive throughout the hand.
