I wouldn't fold here vs. an unknown but I'm not happy calling.

Why is this a scary board? We don't have more than 2 to any straight, two to any flush, nor a paired board?

I figure CO made his set on the turn (or possibly slowplayed). If he stayed in on 22, make a note that he chases two-outers w/o sufficient odds and move on.

Grunch

I think you played the flop and turn as best as you could, I would have done the same. The action in this hand is pretty confusing overall and hard to read IMO.

You have to call the river here, the pot is too large to consider folding top pair with no possible straights or flushes.

*grunch*

Not sure why you think this board is scary?

BBs line is very interesting as is COs. BB 3-bets the flop and then checks the turn after a seemingly pretty safe card falls? Maybe after 3-betting he was afraid of getting raised on the turn since you didn't cap the flop???? Doubtful.

CO may be slow-playing a set of 8s since I can not see how the 2 helped him (not likely calling 2 bets on the flop with 4th pair (if he held 22)). If he is a total donk, maybe A2, but I really doubt that too. He may of been waiting to the turn to raise both of you.

I feel you could probably fold the turn raise as you are definately behind at this point to at least 2 pair. You may have about 3.5 outs here (3 Jacks + .5 for the tainted Aces), but you could also be drawing completely dead if CO has a set already.
