A true LAG would have raised preflop.

Villain certainly could have a flush draw some of the time and may fold 44-66 on your turn raise. He may have even just value raised his ace on the flop figuring you were the one on a draw. I like it. You make more if he's drawing and wouldn't have fired at the river, and lose the same if he has you beat.

However, if he's slightly observant, he would know that you wouldn't fire at the flop with nothing with the button to act behind you.
