i think i'd call. my experience has been that min reraises are often AA/KK, but if they're not that they're more often A5s/QJs-type junk than AK/AQ. there's only one AA left in the deck; if he's got it, so be it.

also you have some extra chop outs against AK/AQ. a min reraise makes someone a potential fish in my book, and i think he got excited when he hit top pair with Ax.

If I call, what hands do you think he's most-likely to turn over?

I don't think that this is that easy.....How has this guy been playing? If tightly, then I fold because you have only invested 1400 and u are still going to be healthy...As a side note, I would not have checked the turn...Bet around 700 when the A comes down and you have properly defined your hand...Now you can't be sure with the all in...

If he's been a wild player, bluffing a lot...then I call...

Well I'd probably call there. If he had AA why would he do that? You've shown some apparent hesitation with your flop and turn check to him. Why would he want to push you out with the fh? His push smells scared to me. With AK or AQ I'm thinking along these lines too. He's got to think his push will only get called if you have trip 7s making those hands less likely. I would say he's doing this w/ AT or lower, thinking that even if you have a bigger A he's got outs to the split, but then the PF reraise doesn't make much sense for those hands. I'm not even considering hands with a 7 in them.
My guess would be he got upset when the A came and ruined his KK, QQ, or JJ and he's now bluffing the big A.

Any read here? The whole hand is a little fishy. Not to say he's a fish, but either he's trying to look like a donk with weird action to force you to call his big hand (AK, AA) or he's got something like KQ clubs and pushed the newfound draw on the turn.

Read dependent, IMO. If he's a moron then I think you're ok here.

Although the more I look at it the more AK seems likely but I'm still calling.

I can't see justifying a call here unless your read on MP2 is of a LAG fish.

The way the hand played out, you raise PF and call a reraise you have some kind of hand.

Villain reraises PF but then both show weakness on the flop. Ace [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] hits on the turn and villain pushes into you knowing very well you probably have overcards and more than likely an Ace.

Is villain capable of pulling off a bluff and reraising an EP player with KQ [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], or a weaker Ace. If he had an overpair to the flop and the pot is equivelent to what he has left why would he wait till the turn when the Ace hits to take down the pot. Seems to me like he played it like AK/AQ.

One last thing to consider is folding leaves you with 5000 chips and 25BB's to build on. Calling and being wrong suddenly puts you on a short stack with 10BB's. I would be much more inclined to call if it was the J that hit the turn.
