Default Weak Turn Fold? (First hand post after hiatus)

First hand post after my approx 50 day hiatus from poker. Want to make sure I didn't get weak during my break, which may be the case here. Regardless, it was a tough fold for me.

Not many hands on Villian, seems slightly loose preflop, but fairly passive on the whole. I figure the only thing that I'm beating if he is a rational opponent is JT, or possibly Ah9. Is the turn fold too weak?

People who bet into you on the turn liek that don't usually have what they're representing as they would check raise stronger hands. So I would have called down.

It's a tough one tho. Overcard, striaght card, flush card. really scary. If villain is tricky he may try to bluff you out. I wonder what others have to say...

I think it's close, though I don't think you're gonna be good quite 1 in 4.6 times here.

Extremely close. You have an overcard to the board and a gutshot, and it's unlikely he's betting the turn with a made flush after you raised the flop. I'd probably call this down.

i think that it was correct to fold in this situation. he may have been trying to scare you out, but you made the smart play. after a 50 day hiatus, you gotta start slow. you'll get him next time. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I like your fold. It makes it look like you can be pushed off a hand which can come in handy later on.

i like that thinking for later on.. but if he calls down he could see what this guy was betting into him with. I doubt it is a made flush or we would look for the c/r.
