Prima Poker Software Flaw
I am playing on Royalvegaspoker of the Prima poker network.
Situation: Multi table NL tourney. I have 4500 chips, player A has 6000, player B has 1100. BB is 300. no one else plays in the pot except the three of us. Player A acting before me raises to 900, I call the 900, Player B then goes all in for 1100 - making a SHORT RAISE of 200. Player A then reraises to 3600!!! This is insane! Totally against the standard rules of holdem tournaments. I have verified this many times before making this post. The orginal bettor should not be allowed to reraise if the all in person makes a short raise! Atleast Poker stars and Party poker definitely protect against this. What do you guys think? Has anyone else noticed this? |

Re: Prima Poker Software Flaw
Its the same way at PokerRoom / and I suspect at other sites.
I consider it a nice feature actually. I dont really think its makes the game unfair or anything. |

Re: Prima Poker Software Flaw
This absolutely makes the game unfair! The standard rules are to protect against such reraises! this rule pretty much allows you to reraise even if the all in reraise was ONE chip!

Re: Prima Poker Software Flaw
I guess I would be pissed off if it happened to me without knowing the site allowed it. But once Its known and everybody is playing by the same rules, your only option is to not play at these sites or learn to deal.
But more to the point, I dont see allowing a player to re-raise after a short raise preflop as that big of a deal. I like it actually. I have a much bigger problem with the rebuy bug at party than this one. |

[/ QUOTE ]you sure pokerroom allows this or was it a freak accident the party bug is if your chips are in the middle you can rebuy, which i dont have a problem with because it is pretty well known and like a poster here said it adds more skill because of the deeper stacks and boosts the prizepool |
