Default 2-4/3-6 Rake Structures - Casino Niagara vs. Seneca Niagara Casino

I was wondering which is better.

Casino Niagara

10% up to $5

Seneca Niagara

$3 on the flop and $1 when the pot is $40 for a maximum of $4

My guess is that, at these levels, the Seneca Niagara structure is better. The impact of the rake is larger on pots of $30 or less - but it is less for any pot higher than that.

I would imagine that at the 3-6, most pots get to be bigger than 5 BB - so its an advantage there. On the 2-4 it may be more balanced since its 7.5 BB, but I still think it would work out in favor of Seneca.

but rake comparisons are all about percentages so the different currency is not an issue.

the bottom line is money per hand.

there's a big difference between your overall earn in a 2/4 with a $5 rake in USD vs 2/4 with a $5 rake in CAD.

So if I am winning 2BB/100 over 100K hands in US dollars, then does that mean I am a better player than someone earning 2BB/100 over 100K hands in Canadian dollars?

You are equal as players, but you have more money.
