iPod Hacks?

So, I'm very technically proficient (ie C.S. degree, work as a programmer blah blah balh) but I finally joined the 21st century today and bought an iPod. I was going to get a 1GB shuffle but realized a 4GB mini was only $50 more, so I got that.

Anyways, what's some cool stuff I can do with it besides music?

I don't own an iPod, but I'm pretty sure one can't do this.

Yeah thanks, I saw that. If you actually read that thread there are no real suggestions, only a link that doesn't even work any more.
