** Dealing River ** [ 4c ] jrotten58 checks. HERO checks. [/ QUOTE ] I think you should have thrown out a blocking bet on the river for 1/4 pot and folded to any more than a min-raise. You might lose a little more sometimes, but more often you'll find that weaker hands will just call, stronger hands will raise, and guys that might bluff if you check won't bother if you bet. Otherwise, I like your line. Raise preflop, make a good continuation bet, check the turn, and then I think you'd do much better (in general) with a blocking bet on the river. |

Re: KK - $50NL
Kings multiway sucks. You protected on the flop, played pot control on the turn, and were very likely beat on the river. nh.
I wouldn't block the river against two opponents, but I suck even more than Kings multiway. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah I like that idea. After playing with this guy some more he's made some pot sized bluff's at the river a few times in hopes of picking it up without a showdown. Now I think there's a strong chance I had the best hand here but ah well, live and learn. Thanks for the feedback. LDT |
