You're taking a highly edited broadcast and essentially paraphrasing a note somebody made for themselves. Do you think there could be a context problem here?

All he was doing was emphasizing the gap concept. To read into his statement any further is pointless.

By the way, it was AT he folded not AJ, Hachem had AJ. I thought it was a pretty good lay down personaly. AT facing a reraise with a 5 man table, suddenly AT doesnt look that good. JMO.

When I taught my roommate to play poker, the first thing I taught him was that calling should be the last option you consider. I think a general fear of calling and comfort with folding when raising/reraising fells no good is correct.

There are obviously times when folding to a raise is a huge mistake, but I liked the line when I first heard it.
