Favor to ask: could someone host a pic for my avatar?

I found my avatar of the future: here, 3rd panel on the strip labeled "I fold", about 2/3 of the way down.

I've saved the strip and sliced out the frame I want, but there doesn't seem to be a way to upload an avatar here directly from your hard drive. I was wondering if someone with a web page of their own would be willing to host a small pic so that I could use the url as a source for my avatar. Any takers could PM me an email address, and I'll send the pic. I'd owe you one.

Problem #2 is that the pic is a .bmp file, and I don't think these forums can use those for avatars. Any way for me to convert the file to, say, a .jpg?

Ideas for alternate solutions are welcome, and thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Open up Paint, open pic, choose Save As from the File menu, choose jpeg from the drop down menu, enter a name, save pic.

Make account and upload at Photobucket.
