Default PokerTracker Stars SnG Question

Is there some trick to getting Stars to send you your SnG hand history? When I request my hand history, I know it'll send me my last 200 ring games but for some reason it doesn't always seem to include my tournament hands. Is there some trick to this that I'm missing. For example, when I load my tournament summaries into PT, I get an error message that I haven't downloaded all the applicable hand histories for the tournament summaries and I'm usually pretty good about requesting hand histories every two hundred hands. Is there some trick like you need to request them from the tournament window or something?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

There is a different option to just request tournament hand histories. Just change the radio button and input the tournament # and you will get the entire tournament.

So I need to put in the tournament number and not just request hands for the last two hours or 200 hands?

Yes, and if you've forgotten the tournament #s, 1st go to "Request a summary of your last X tournaments" and you can get all the tournament #s from there that you might want a hand history for.

PS allows you to make two different kinds of requests.

One is "hand histories," which shows what cards were dealt.

The other is something like "tournament summaries." It contains information like who was in the tournament, what the prizes were, and where you finished.

Without the tournament summaries, PT is useless.

BTW, you can only get your 5 most recent tournaments using the regular method. If you want others (besides your five most recent) you'll have to request them individually, by tournament number.

On Stars remember to from the lobby

Request > hand histories

and

Request > Tournament Histories.

The most reliable way to do these is to write the numbers down somwhere and request each by number AFTER the tournament has finished. I have asked if they will be implementing an auto mail finction like party and it is on the list for the future...

Hello Chill 888 I tend to split my pt databases down by year at the moment as the access database is slow. I beleive Pat is working on sql or some other better database solution for future versions.

My Tourny database this year so far runs to :
1743 tournys - 6,879 players , 114,477 hands
Database sizes - hand history - 197 mb - ptrack db 359mb

All still running fine.
