hand 1-I usually try for a raise then see where I'm at before I get out of this one.

Hand 2-you've gotta fold here, you are a huge dog if your against any 2 pair, and your not to far ahead if they just have 1.

i agree. in the first one he could easily be on a flush draw. he could have hit an ace but he could also be hoping you raise out the other guy. i think the key here is in your subject line: MICRO+MAY BE BEST = NO FOLD. if you raise 4th and get reraised or he keeps betting into you, I would reevaluate on 5th.

Hand 2 seems like a good release as was said.

Hand 1: If he has a 4-flush, he's still a favorite over me. I guess this is a situation that I'm supposed to raise even if I think that he may have a better hand b/c it'll improve my chances? And I'm not too far behind at the time if I am behind?

the raise is basically for a little more information so you can figure out if your hand is best, then figure out what needs to be done.

If he's got the 4 flush your 2 to 1 but you can see if he improves and get out of the hand if that is his likely hand.

If he has aces your also 2 to 1
