for a newbie i cant believe what i am reading, 2+2 was highly recomended to me and i am surprised to see that regulars here are taking childish shots at me for trying to learn, btw most of my posts are getting alot of responses and they are providing good discussions here, unlike this thread so far.

This is completely untrue. When I started reading twoplustwo, the mid and high forums were separate and mid was labeled as being for "$10/20 to $40/80". I forget the upper bound (I think $40/80 is right), but the lower bound was definitely $10/20. Even after the forums were merged, $10/20 was generally considered the entry-level mid-limit game for a while (this was before almost anybody played online). But those times are gone now. I agree that today $10/20 is considered to be small stakes.
