I know just about nothing about computers and networks but isn't it possible for them to see you physical address (the serial number of the computer)?

No. The buddy list is stored on their server.

Make two copies of Empire on your computer.

Find my old post explaining how to get Party and PokerNow open at the same time, and follow those instructions.

It *should* allow you to open both.

Well, I wouln't call it physical, but yes they can see your IP.

This is still a really bad idea.
