2 of my old best friends (who play d1 college now, used to shoot 3ptrs and half court shots behind their back, but they'd use the same technique as who you shoot it facing the basket.

It feels weird for the fact that you're jumping backwards when you take the shot, but I'd be willing to bet that it's even more effective than the stroke the asian used for 2 reasons.

1 - The arc you use is going to be more accurate

2 - holding it like a normal shot gives you the advantage of aiming more accurate

She somehow manages to be boring AND strident at the same time. Even her celebratory cheers, after fat vietnamese dude hits the halfcourt shot, are lame and boring sounding. You'd think, in LA of all cities, they could find a decent hot announcer. Clips dancers are not hot either. WTF.
