I'd say push/fold preflop.

Since you have >10bb, I think it's still okay to limp here and play 55 for set value, but it would definitely be okay to fold and conserve your chips for pushbotting later.

Looking at the hand the way it was played (with a raise to 150), I think on the flop I push there as well.

This hand is a good example of why I limp or fold preflop with a low pp early in a tourney.

Or the $5+$0.50 or $6+$0.50 at PS. $5+1 is a lot of vig.

And, a bump after just 21 minutes?

You don't know what the poster's BR is, so I'd say that's poor advice.

Though the rake is steep, 5+1's are certainly beatable (understatement of the year). If someone has only $150 or less, they should be playing at the 6s and not the 11s or 22s. I think it's foolish to encourage/pressure someone to practice potentially poor bankroll management.

Agreed. I should mention it was meant to be light hearted (which doesn't make it any more helpful). I shoulda put a smilie on there.

FWIW, I like the limp/fold option.

didn't mean to say you were a fool, either, funky. a lot of people throw similar statement around; I just wanted to point out that it's okay to play the 6s if that's what your bankroll dictates.
