Flopped top set, but turn brings straight, Reraise?
How was this hand played?
On the turn JQ looked very possible but I wanted to charge for the draws. The river is a call? Re: Flopped top set, but turn brings straight, Reraise?
absolutely raise the turn, a lower set or two pair is more likely than QJ and there are a ton of draws that will pay off.
the river is definitely a call. nh. |

Re: Flopped top set, but turn brings straight, Reraise?
I think you played this one OK. However, I might be inclined to call the flop raise, and hopefully punish everyone with 2 big bets on the turn. 3-betting this flop might slow down an overpair and allow you only to pick up 1 bet on the turn from the field. Plus, the SB might 3-bet the flop anyway.
