Default Party software glitch?

On the flop I raised, had 1 caller and then was reraised, when it got back to me it would not let me raise again, probably costing me the hand.

Is this a glitch or normal?

I doubt MP1 was folding with two overs and the nut flush draw.

Probably not but we will never no, he seemed hesitant to call the turn raise, so there might of been a slight chance.

At any rate is this a normal at party or what?

I've seen this before in NL cash games. I'm not sure if it's the same issue, but the reason it happens in the cash games is becuase your opponent did not make a full raise. So Party does not allow raising to re-open in this situation.

It seems silly to me but that's the way it is.

People keep talking about this rule, but I cannot understand it. It makes sense to me if his all in raise is not a large enough sum to matter, but a raise this large makes it rediculous, and makes me HAVE to base my raises off of 1/2 of his stack. This way, if he pushes I can re-raise all in to isolate with only him, if I need to. If I bet $T1 more than 1/2 of his stack, as I understand the rule, I would not be able to re-open the betting. I seem to remember this rule NOT being applied this way at a WPT event, but cannot recall the details. I still disagree strongly with the rule. It's quite frusterating to me.

It's pretty simple, a raise must be at least the amount of the previous raise. You raised it 350 (from 0 to 350) so he must raise it to at least 700 to make it a valid raise. Since he didn't it doesn't count. Yes you must take his stack size into account when making raises.

I know it's frustrating when you don't plan it out in advance. Think of it this way. It's something that makes the game more complicated. Since you are the thinking type of player it is to your advantage because your opponents won't do the planning you described.

I thought the "Standard rule" was anything greater than 1/2 a bet counted on a raise.

Of course each site can make it's own rule, as long as it's posted somewhere.

That being said, I also would agree that you weren't going to get him to fold.

300 on the turn with that many outs into that pot should have been an auto call anyways, and on the turn, he knows he has anywhere from 9 - 18 outs. now not all of those would be clean outs, but I doubt he would have folded this on the flop.

I bet if you ran this on 2 dimes, he was actually the favorite after the flop against you (at least for the side pot).

He had 3 Aces, 4 twos, and 8 other Diamonds

15 outs - 2 times.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Why don't you try playing at one of the sites which ignores this rule and then tell us how you feel when you call $30 on a flush draw, some guy goes all-in for $31, and then the original bettor raises you $100 more?
