Getting money in the pot...

Im having trouble getting money in the pot when I have the nuts. any advice?

I guess this depends on how you play, but sometimes i like to bring higher (read: 9Ts etc) connectors in for a raise, and then if i make my draw, value bet. Dont try to get your whole stack in, start conservative, and you will be able to figure out how much they will call. About half the pot is usually a pretty callable value bet for most low limit tourney players
