Villain was calling almost all my raises PF. He instaraised me on the flop and instapushed the turn. The hand just before this I had made a raise UTG, got called in 4(!) spots and took it down on the flop with a 3/4 pot continuation bet on a relatively dry board (349r). I've only been at the table for two orbits or so.

If you've only been at the table for two orbits, that means that Villian should assume what a reraise preflop typically means. Furthermore, why should he think that he can get you to fold QQ+ with no read on you?

I fold here without a read.

The insta call seems like a tempt at trying to find out where you are.

Pushing the turn seems like a huge bluff. I can't see him having anything but 88-JJ

I think fold is normal against solid player and call is normal vs donkeys from your description it looks like a call... (these insta actions)... I dont know, fold is definitely my default vs unknown but I called today with QQ on almost identical flop and action and Villain had smaller pair.

Best wishes

Given your recent history I would call this pretty quickly, he'll have a ten enough to make up for the times he flopped a set.

Villian's preflop call is fairly small relative to stack sizes.

Villian pushed even though there are no obvious draws or even scare cards out there.

You've clearly defined your hand as an overpair.

Therefore, with this Villian, I think you're going to see some weird two pairs if you call here. 34s, T6, etc. Maybe even 57s.
