Default ($10) Is this playable and how? A9s

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed) converter

BB (t655)
UTG (t1075)
UTG+1 (t1323)
MP1 (t770)
Hero (t625)
CO (t437)
Button (t550)
SB (t2565)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font> Hero...

Both CO and Button are loose, tight BB. I haven't played a hand yet except for limping early in level 1 with a mid PP that was folded. This seems playable to me but not sure how. Push? Raise 3xbb? or fold?

Personally I'd fold with that stack, unless the blinds were going up in the next hand or two.

I usually fold this, but if you play it, I raise to 150. Problem is if CO and Button are loose, they are probably pushing with any hand that is good in their eyes. Then you're playing for most of your stack.

Yea, I push if the blinds are going to go up before I have to post again, fold if they aren't.

I didn't comment on the large SB stack because OP didn't provide a read. But it is definitely a consideration.

I like this line. Though your stack would indicate that a 3xBB raise could be appropriate, it puts you in an awkward position especially if the people left to act are loose and likely to play. I would only play it if the blinds were about to go up.
