Default Goot play with big stack or donkey push??

Read on opponent was semi-lag. His chat had contained a lot of instructional advice on others play when he lost pots. When i bet the flop all the way up to the push i "knew" all my outs were goot.

Villain is pot committed after check-raising you on the turn. You've got very little folding equity on the turn when you push and with two overs and a gutshot straight you're certainly behind. I would have just checked the turn to start with.

preflop and flop are good. escalate your bet on the turn... betting the turn the same as the flop smacks of weakness (it's a pretty big underbet in relation to the pot). once he raises the turn, i know you think it's "your pot," but just let it go.

I agree with this. check call a reasonable turn bet with those outs, or bet out for most/all of his stack on the turn (if you think he'll fold). the 500 is a really weak lead bet here IMO, especially since you don't have a hand at all yet, so ideally you'd like to take the pot down now.

I did mean that in a good way. Succinct or not betgo, your advice is rarely wrong. I tend not to argue with people on the pokerstars TLB top 100.

Thanks, I thought you meant I should know as a donkey or something.

I thought you took it the wrong way, and I am used to being accused of presenting retarded ideas and making the worst post ever.
