premature folding
hey,
I was playing a freeroll today and even in other games i see it too, people folding even though they can check !? I.E when they're the BB they can check no one raised or anything, dont they want a 'free' card? whats the deal here, is there a secret masterplan behind this ? Cause i dont see it... thanks -peace |

Re: premature folding
They are clueless. Even if your holding 74o you should still see the flop because you might catch a great hand.
356, X77, X47 etc.. |

Re: premature folding
Probably they think their hands are already pretty bad and that they're beyond helping, but even still, I'd see a card for free no matter what.

Re: premature folding
I do this when I'm doing something else and I think I've got no chance of winning the hand.
As a bonus it makes people think youre an idiot. |

Re: premature folding
1. They are on "Auto Fold".
2. I've seen people do this in real life too. I think it stems from their fear of playing hands on and after the flop. They don't really know what to do in many marginal situations, and are afraid of bleeding away money on postflop errors due to getting attached to hands, etc. Just be glad when he autofolds his Q3 when you have AQ the flop comes Q-Q-3. |
