I would just make a normal raise but a little more than what you did - to around 900. If you don't hit the flop and have to fold you'd still have over 10XBB - enough chips to make a run.

Tough decision on the flop. Good chance you're behind here. Your 600 bet looks very weak. If you decide to make a continuation bet, it needs to be at least 2/3 the pot. That would be around 1200 and a big chunk of your stack. But if you're going to put in 1200, you need to push as you're pot committed. So it's either push or fold on the flop. You have 6 outs and a backdoor flush draw so you're about a 2.5 to 1 dog if he has a pair and calls. You'd be betting 1705 to win 5160 (if he calls) which is 3 to 1 odds. So you've got the odds to push. He might fold if he has a middle pair. He might have AK or AQ. All things considered, I'd probably gamble it up and push.
