Default The Onion -- where did those old-timey front pages go?

Anyone else love the old-timey fake newspaper front pages that The Onion used to have on the bottom of their old web site front page, before their new redesign? You know, the ones where FDR will be praising Hitler or Sears is sued for pornography or something? I don't see them linked anywhere in the new design.

By the way, the Extremely Graphic Galaxy in this week's edition is a hoot, as well as the story on Pittsburgh being shamefully unprepared for a full scale zombie attack.

I believe most of those were taken from the pages of Our Dumb Century, which was their first book. You should read it if you haven't, it's a kickass book.

I bought it, it was definitely great. I have a couple of their books and I've gotten a few of their yearly day at a time desk calendars.

Ah, I see. It's just integrated in as a regular part of their home page each time now, not sequestered off to the side as a special feature. Thanks.

Strange way of doing it.

yeah, the new format makes it look more newspaper-y, but u have to look for the new content. just cause its on the first page doesn't mean it's new. but the other good news is they reopened the archives that were closed about a yr ago when there was a push to get more subscriptions.

if u have a lot of time read all of the Point - CounterPoint articles. if u only have a little time make sure u read:
I'm so starving vs I'm so starving
Sexual Harassment In The Workplace Must Stop vs I Love The Way Your Tits Bounce When You Type
European Men Are So Much More Romantic Than American Men vs. American Women Studying In Europe Are Unbelievably Easy

as u can see the list of esentials is very long and there r others that i left off becuase they only had decent titles.

This was always my favorite Point-Counterpoint.

I read the second one before. Thanks for the link! I didn't know that was a repeated feature.

I've read this site a couple times and I didn't really enjoy reading the articles. Maybe I just don't get it...

I think the quality has gone down over the past few years. Too much political stuff. Look throught he archives at some of the old articles...classic.
