Default PP 15/30 giving us a break on rake??

Check the summary tab in pokertracker. My avg. rake for January dropped .50 from where it was at in 2004.

Pot size stayed about the same as did the avg. number of players but my avg. rake dropped from around 2.60 to 2.08.

Someone at party must have dropped the ball. I think we're paying less in rake then the 10/20 and maybe even the 5/10.

Has anyone else noticed this??

It is probably normal fluctuation, but yes, I see it too. The average rake (in my data) was 2.02 for Party 15/30 in January. It was 2.42 in December and 2.61 in Novemeber.

Was this publisized and I missed it? Maybe an error on there part? Seemed too good to be true. Think about it, an extra fifty cents in your pocket for every hand you win. We're talking tens of thousands of dollars more in players pockets every year. What gives?

I know this comes up all the time - but can someone tell me the best rakeback deal available (for an existing PP a/c holder). Thanks.

No way this was normal fluctuation. I logged over 40K hands last month, so my sample size isn't small. Pots were the same size and the rake was .50 less.

Check the classified ads at the top of the page. You should find some good deals there.

OK, I realized this was probably right so I went to see what what going on. It looks like this is a PokerTracker or hand history error. Look at the individual hands to see what rakes you see. (I have several with negative rakes.)

Oh, this is going to suck for anyone who wants to fix this now. PP changed something in their HH format, I think around 12/20. To fix this, you need to update PT, then purge and re-import all of those sessions.
