I hold AQ [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG. Bet. Only callers are the two blinds.
Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Quietly pleased with this development. Checked to me - I bet - SB calls - BB raises. I call, with a view to keeping SB in. In so far as I have a read, it is that BB will not be moved off any sort of hand. Turn Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks - BB bets - I raise. River 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Checked out. Was my line OK, absurd, somewhere in between?

I'm taking it you had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Qx preflop, correct? AQ[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] is a little bit misleading because it implies your cards were suited.

If it was an off suit queen on the turn, I call there I think. If you know the BB wont raise (so you get a free showdown with this play if you want it) I still call since I want the SB to stick around and pay me off. I'm not too worried about giving the SB a free card, he probably only has three outs if he is behind, and may be drawing dead. Did the SB stick around or drop on the turn?

Having now read my original post, I realise it was incoherent and incomplete. Sorry. The turn card was Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Had it been a second Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] that would have been rather disconcerting.
SB folded when I raised BB's bet on the turn.
