Side bets? If there is interest I'll start another thread.

Right now I'm pretty confident I'll win it, but I need to see the draw first before I am 100% sure.

I'll make a book if people are interested. I think this could add fun for people who aren't involved.

Edit: And of course allow hedges for the pussies who are playing with scared money and allow leveraging for those people like Yeti who are bold enough to make winning claims and then back it up with some cold hard cash.

I'd love to bet on every matchup of every round, it should be fun. Obviously this'll have to wait until the matchups are set.

Default another question

I'd just like to make sure it's ok for the participants to agree to stop the match and continue later. the reason I am asking this is I pretty much never have > 4 hours to play pokah, usually less. hopefully the matches will not take this long but with constant blinds and 200BB stacks you never know.

You gotta watch out how much action you get. We don't want to see people throwing games here! That would compromise the integrity of this grand event.

This is obviously fine, but I think that before any participants take a break they should both PM each other confirming the chip counts. That way there will be easy proof in case there is any conflict later. I know we will be keeping hand histories, but this would be a lot simpler.

btw guys, chaostracize just referred to this tournament as a dick measuring contest, and i can't say i don't agree. however, i was unaware that that is what it was before i agreed to enter.

that being said, you're all going down, bitches.

it is weird for me, I usually never play tournaments or any games that aren't excellent. probably not a +EV move for me but should be fun.
