Default moving up IMPOSSIBLE

i've been trying to move up from .25/.50 to anything higher.. i just can't seem to do it... it's like after the flop everyone folds.. unless ofcourse they have something GOOD.. and i always get drawn out... i think i play just as good.. and just as tight.. i am a BIG winner at the lower games.. can anyone offer me any insight into what i might be doing wrong?

table selection will become more important at the higher limits. Also, you may be running badly, or playing scared of losing more money. Make sure you keep the aggression up. I would recommend you try out party.

i do seem to keep the agression up.. i just play my standard game .. but when i DO get a hand they just fold.. i can't get any callers.... and my table image SHOLD be fine because i go down with some bad hands sometimes for that... rarely but just to get it up.... still rarely ever any callers.. i played some .5/1.0 today and lost 30 dollars two tabling.. it wasn't pretty .. but when i joined i THOUGHT they were good tables.. all so confusing... anyway i'll take your advice and maybe try out partypoker.. im sure im good enough.. i just dont understand it

Where do you play? I've just been a break even player at Stars, but have made money (so far) at Party 0.50/1.

What site are you playing? Many sites have terrible .50/1 games.

You WILL get callers at party poker .50/1. In fact you will have to work very hard to get them to fold sometimes. You should be finding tables that have at least 4 players seeing every flop 6+ is even better. Look for the tabes with the highest average pots. If you're at a table that fold to the blinds more than once an orbit (perhaps less) leave! Find a better fishing hole.

All that being said I'd be willing to bet you have tons more to learn. Start reading these forums religioulsy and posting comments when you disagree or are confused. The answers you will get will teach you volumes!

(I don't recommend posting many new hands though as this is a recipe for cluttering the forum with boring garbage. Only post hands that you think are very confusing and please no more than 1 per day.)
