Default More fun with maps.

Well, I'm going to go against every ounce of reason in my body and start a poker session with the expectation that it isn't interrupted by party server crashes, internet hub failure, or adelphia cable incompetence. To give me something to do while folding everything but AA on 24 tables, I present google maps challenge #2:

The highlighted part is the target of interest.

Hint: 2 types of people should have an advantage with this challenge. 1) those who live around it (duh). 2) those with good taste in music.

blah. i hate this answer, because it's not what i was going for. i'm going to use the hint i gave to disqualify it: "people who have good taste in music" and "people who see shows regularly at HoB" are generally mutually exclusive in my mind....the music hint was in regards to something else there....

That's what I was looking for. The House of Blues is right next door, and was probably covered in the highlighted part of my pic. I definitely had the Wilco album cover in mind when posting the challenge.

I thought this was a decent one, but apparently it was pretty easy. Oh well.

For anyone with decent taste in music, this is way too easy. For anyone who has ever been to and gone out in that city this is way too easy. House of Blues, Wilco, Chicago etc.

That said, I'm enjoying these because I'm sure I'm 2/2 so far.

Yeah. I need to come up with one that's challenging, yet not ridiculously impossible. If you play poker in LA and listen to good music, the first two are pretty easy.

I live in Los Angeles and the quality of my taste in music is comparable to the quality of my taste in women.

We shall see. So far you haven't given me any reason to doubt you on either count, but I don't have a large enough sample size yet for anything conclusive....
