Re: Any way to play this hand differently?
[ QUOTE ]
Jeff - can you or someone else explain why check raising 4th is better then check raising 5th? I can see why raising third is better but not 4th. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I want to know too. |

Re: Any way to play this hand differently?
I would tend to three-bet third and lead out on fourth, but I think your line is OK. I think the only thing I do different is to fold the river, unless the other guy is a real nut job.

Re: Any way to play this hand differently?
Pretty well the same comments as the others except that I'd add that though you obviously suspect QQTT, against some players I think it's OK to call the river. Against others, it is a definite fold. And because of your read of the player, it may very well have been the right call.

Re: Any way to play this hand differently?
When Seat 7 raises your completion on 3rd, he's telling you he can beat Kings. You have to consider he has rolled Q's or Aces under. I would probably have popped him back 3rd to find out for sure. Why the sudden swing on 5th to check raise? You had been playing the hand passively until then, and don't improve...I'm lost here. I highly doubt most any opponent would fold to your raise when they have been the one betting out. 6th street seems to be a fairly easy fold. You haven't improved and your opponent keeps pressing, lay it down.
