Default Early in a low limit MTT

Maybe 6 minutes in.... I'll stop after the flop is shown to see what everyone thinks.

I think that is well within the range of moves to make now that you are in this spot. It would have been nicer if the pot was a bit smaller, especially given your position though (maybe something to think about).

Not getting involved at all or betting anything less than 1/2 the pot is just too weak, but the person making that comment about not getting involved is at least correct that you don't want to get *overinvolved* in this pot at this point of the tournament (which is why I don't like the pot bet either and would prefer to not be in this situation right now with a pot this big in the first place).

I really hate that idea. Seems like a push is the classic win a little/lose a lot move.

you'd be surprised what people will call with

i hate counting on being called by complete donks. i usually assume that my opponents are halfway decent until proven otherwise and any decent player who calls here likely has you beat.

I agree. It is possible, maybe even likely considering the stakes, that I'll get called by someone with junk. But realize, there are 4 of them and any one could easily wake up with a hand.
