So if I'm looking at this correctly, there are two ways of qualifying for the actual event - an FPP tourney and a cash tourney. And there is only one of each that will be held.

The 4,000 Euro event starts on September 16th so they should be able to run satellites oe 3 different days(August 27, September 3 and 10) giving everyone 6 chances to qualify...but who knows. I hope they run all of those because FPP qualifiers are dead money.

So, are you planning on just buying into the qualifying cash and FPP tournament directly or are you going to play in the $13r and smaller FPP sats?

Default Dead Money FPP Qual

Hmm....I believe Colson10 got Second at Deauville to an FPP Qualifier.....I wonder who it was....Some guy named Schaefer.
Maybe after your score last year you won't have to FPP your way in this year.

I would play in the 13R but not the FPP satellites. I'd only play in the FPP if it was late at night and there were only a few people registered. I don't feel like wading through a ton of people just for FPPs. Buy in directly to the FPP one and qualify for the cash one.

PokerStars is actually paying my way to this event because I wore their shirt at the FT in Monte Carlo. But for future events this will be my strategy. Good luck to everyone. EPT events really kick butt, 10K chips, good structure...and you'll be on the Spanish Riviera for god's sake.

If I wear their shirt when I am playing in my home game, do I get a free entry?
