Default gunshy with AKs on bubble (low content)

This post is a confession of sins of sorts. I think I played this hand horribly. Please confirm this is the case so I don't make this mistake again.

Party 100+9 NLHE STT, blinds 200/400

UTG: 2740
Hero: 3100
SB: 3600
BB: 560

Dealt to Hero: AsKs

UTG raises to 1200, Hero Calls, SB fold, BB calls

Flop Jh 8c 4d
check, check, check

Turn 3c
check, UTG bet 700, hero folds

Result: UTG wins hand with unimproved KT

I think this is a clear all-in preflop. I had a series of bubble busts earlier in the session so I wanted to ensure a cash. This type of thinking is not conducive to good long term results.

Let me have it.

Paul

Duh.

Yeah, you know you messed up. It's only one tournament. Just don't ever do it again or we'll steal your kittens.

try not to let results of other tournaments cloud your play.
