Default Trips - fishy player raises

Villain is LPP ~ 40/2.5/.8 over ~ 35 hands.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB calls, BB folds.

Turn: (5.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, SB folds, Hero...?

What's your plan from here?

I'm three betting him in a heartbeat. he would've raised AK PF. call a cap, lead the river, call a raise

For what it's worth, I'm not so sure a 40/2.5/0.8 guy 3-bets AK preflop.

Of course, it's just 35 hands, so who knows? AK isn't a preflop 3-bet for everyone, though, and it might not be for this Villain.

Maybe the biggest issue is what kind of hands CO has been cold-calling with, because we're losing to AK, KJ, JJ, and 88.

The turn raise does seem to represent at least trips, so how much lower than KJ will CO go with his preflop cold-calls? (And extending the range to precisely K8 doesn't cheer me up so much.)

I suppose we should throw in a play with hands like A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or even 77 as possibilities, but this Villain has been somewhat passive over 35 hands so far. (And he might not pay off with the 77.)

not sure I lead the river if villian caps. He's pretty damn passive...although this is only over a small number of hands.
