Default Huge pot OOP with QQ

UTG is a ~40/18. I haven't gotten involved with any notable hands with him however.

The two other players involved are extremely loose (>75vip). I felt lost the entire hand. ugh.

Party Poker Pot-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Button ($147.85)
SB ($84.83)
Hero ($136.45)
UTG ($212.60)
MP ($165.50)
CO ($97.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $3.5</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $3.50, SB (poster) calls $3, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $11</font>, UTG calls $8.50, Button calls $8.50, SB calls $8.50.

Flop: ($48) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $30</font>, UTG calls $30, Button folds, SB folds.

Turn: ($108) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Now what?

I think you need to raise more if you are going to raise preflop with 2 callers.

its unlikely UTG has KK or AA here, otherwise he would have reraised preflop to eliminate button/sb
i think hed show 99-JJ so go ahead and pot it again, only hands u should really be scared of is 77/66 which is the minority of situations that can play out

You have a raiser and two callers with people to act behind you PF. You have to reraise to mor than $11. I make it between $20-25 to go. Then pot the flop and push the turn.

The turn card is unlikely to have changed anything. If you think you were ahead on the flop (and I agree with you) you must bet again here. Or as another poster suggests, push.

push
If he has AA or KK you pay him. If he has JJ-99 he pays you.

no way. i think the 11$ is fine. u're only saying the 20-25 cuz of the results of the 11$.

A raise to $11 is only raising half the pot here, and hero is out of position with 3 players already in. How many people are going to fold for $7.50 with $21.50/$28/$35.50 in the pot? Nobody. They are all priced in.

A pot-sized reraise would be to $17.50, I think thats the minimum you need to bet to start getting folds.

by the time the turn comes the pot is very big, if you decide to bet,(you=~90 pot=~108) it's very close to an all in. raising more preflop would have saved you alot of trouble with this hand
