Greg,

Sincere congratulations on a truly amazing performance. Stacy and I were glued to the live updates every night. You showed incredible courage, guts, class and style throughout the event.

Unfortunately, the best man did not win. I would have loved to see you at the final table again this year. I guess we'll just have to wait until 2006.

Our best to you and your family. I hope we get to meet up again soon. I'm proud as hell to be able to call you a friend.

Sincerely,

Glen and Stacy (Keep Playing Hard!!!!!!!)

I personally judge how skillful sports are by repeat winners. An easy example would be tennis - Sampras, Federer, etc.

The fact you made it so far in this second world series speaks volumes about the game. Thanks and congratulations.

absolutely.

Though my WSOP ME event didn't go well, I got a thrill out of shaking Greg's hand in the hallway, and wishing him the best of luck in the Main Event. I didn't ask him for an autograph, as he was swamped with fans, but I did tell him I was a 2+2'er and appreciated his contributions here.

I'm damn impressed with his success, and after going through my first WSOP, I now know you have seek out your opportunities to gamble and take advantage of your opponents' weakness. Greg did that much better than the vast majority of us, and I salute him for that.

No doubt. Greg made a fabulous showing. As those crazy kids who sit at my table are prone to say, "mad props to the man."

You showed that poker requires skill, thought and strategy. That you made it so far in such a big field should speak volumes about your skill.

You're also a class act. Best of luck next year.

So, 1st last year, 25th this year . . . by the law of averages we should expect a 12th, 13th place finish in 2006, right? Anything less and we will be sorely disappointed.

Oh. Congrats.

Nice going, Greg. An amazing run this year, in the main event and all of the large-field WSOP tournaments. It sucks that variance had to read its ugly head right at that moment.
