Default Out

Down to about t1200. I get AJ in about UTG+2, and raise to 140 (25/50). Guy behind me min raises to 230. I figure he's got Aces or Kings, but decide to see the flop. Axx on the flop, I check, and he makes a relatively weak bet of 175. I just knew I was ahead here, but instead of raising, thought I'd let him bet at me one more time on the turn. Turn is a K. Uh-oh. I check, and he goes all-in, and I know he's got KK, but I'm down to my last 780 chips and call anyway, telling myself (bad zinzan), "well, maybe he has QQ."

I am stoopid. I read him for Kings. He had Kings.

Out. 2nd hand.

what happened?

I would guess that more than 50% of the time that a hand is played out that way you're up against a set. You raised pre-flop showing strength. You bet the flop continuing to show strength and got two callers with a rainbow board. I'm always worried with two callers like that and would try and keep the pot small if possible.

So do you fold there on the turn?

[/ QUOTE ]
Tough one but it REALLY looks like you're behind at this point. Set likely. In hindsight I'd like to think I could fold this on the turn but in reality . . .

Out. Couldn't get anything going and was down to 6BB and pushed with KJs in MP. Called by BB with 99 and didn't improve.

Out as well. Had about 10bb and the big stack raised 3x from MP and I pushed my JJ right into his AA.
