On a certain online site I have noticed some strange things that will pop up. Now for me its something that helps me when I see it occurring. Here is the latest one that happen. I get J5 os, and fold when it’s my turn to play. The flop comes up with J-5-x. So I could have made two pair, but any hole cards will get a favorable flop sometimes. So I don’t worry that I threw away a hand that made two pair on the flop, In the long run it won’t happen enough for me to make a profit. But then a couple of hands later I again get J-5 os. So I call to see the flop, And what do you know, I get a flop of x-J-5, I have made two pair. My two pair holds up and I win money. One of the first times I notice this was on a hand that I made a full house.. A few hands later I receive the same hole cards (usually in different suit) but circumstances forced me to fold my hand. It turned out that I would have again made a full house on the flop. So now, when I see a flop that gives me or would have given me a strong or even a monster hand, I will call later if I see the same hole cards with in the next 5 (five) hands.

At times when I have seen someone else getting some bad beats. Board pairs on the river giving someone a full house beating his or her flush. So when the person getting bad luck plays, I play and its me who is out drawing him/her.

I am curious if any else has noticed such things.

Twice today, I flopped a pair of aces, and both times pocket queens made a set on the river.

Doesn't prove anything ... but it doesn't seem right. This type of BS only seems to happen to me on the PartyPoker network, not the other sites.

What site were you playing on when your strange event happened?

Yes, strange things always happen online and when I play blackjack every time I hit my 12 vs a dealer's 10 I bust..go figure

My main concern is to know if the programming of the random card generator used by various sites have a bug in it. Which may mean the odds of the you getting certain hands is changed. So can certain events that would not pay off in the long run actually can have a positive EV ?. But I would need to know if others see this happening.


Now if I could be able to edit ant move it to Internet gambling as I had intended it to be placed. I would but since I can do no editing I guess it will have to stay here.
