Default AC Stud Tourneys

I know this should probably be in the B&M section, but as most people only know about hold em info I thought I would ask here. I am probably going to be in AC this weekend. Does anyone know about any daily tourneys for stud or stud 8 over the weekends there?

B&M gets more traffic than this forum, and while participants may and may not play in the tournaments, they are probably at least aware of them. I rarely play in any of them, but I can tell you roughly what Canterbury's tournament schedule is like just off the top of my head. I have spent exactly one day playing in AC, but the impression I got from playing in three different rooms and talking to some of the players is that most of the tournaments anymore are NLHE. Card rooms have very little incentive to have tournaments on weekends, because the places fill up anyway. So I'm guessing you'll be disappointed.

Taj, Trop, and Borgata host tourneys

I think weekend tournys are mostly NLHE with a half decent buy in (50+)

If you wanna play stud tourneys you might have to play on a weekday.

Just google for the casino site....borgata and trop have tourney scheduls online

I got excited because i saw on some AC site that the trop runs a 50+ stud hi/low tourney at 11am on sundays....then I went to the trop site and apparently it is now a NLHE tourney of course

Seriously though, it doesn't make much sense to play in a tourney that isn't NLHE. Tourney's are already enough of a crap shoot. Why not do it in the game where the skilled player has the biggest advantage?

Most people say that the skilled player has the greatest advantage in stud-8. I also think that there's plenty of room to exploit weakness in limit tourneys, but you already knew I disagreed with you there.
