KQo turn trips with resistance
No reads, other than Villian is decent. I'm curious about how to play the turn.
PP50NL, Hero has $40.25, Villian (BB) has me covered. Party Poker (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG limps, Hero raises to $2, two folds, Villian calls $1.5, UTG calls $1.5. Flop: ($6) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Villian bets $4, MP folds, Hero calls $4. Turn: ($14) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Villian bets $10, Hero.... |

Re: KQo turn trips with resistance
My initial instinct was to just call, but this isn't really a way ahead/way behind situation. Villain could be semi bluffing with QJ or a diamond draw. I suppose I'd push, as any significant raise basically commits you anyway, so you might as well go for broke and charge him the maximum to draw out on you. The problem with pushing is that it's not really a +EV bet... you could probably pick up a call from a hand like KJ, but not much else that you're beating.
