What to make of these two dimes?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) converter
Button ($58.80) SB ($91.35) BB ($57.20) UTG ($50.05) UTG+1 ($22.75) Hero ($49.40) MP2 ($20.10) MP3 ($21.35) CO ($46.50) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Button calls $2.50, SB calls $2.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG folds. Flop: ($8.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, Button calls $8, SB folds. Turn: ($24.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $48.3 (All-In)</font>, Hero folds. Final Pot: $72.80 Villian seems ok. A little loose pre-flop but fairly straight-forward post flop. My image is TAG. FWIW if I open I almost always bet the flop. I just can't see the massive overbet not being a flush. Is this the definition of an egotistical fallacy? |

Re: What to make of these two dimes?
i limp this hand. i think the raise is fine its just a preference thing. if u raise continuation bet is fine, but im done with the hand if i get called. i dont know if he has a flush here but i do know u r smoked.

Re: What to make of these two dimes?
I think your tens are no good, but I doubt that villain has the flush. Wouldn't it make more sense for him to have something like AK (1[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) ? or possibly even someone who slowplayed cowboys (with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) or 88 who wants to take it down now?
I don't know why a flush would overbet on this board, especially with position. |
