you play that [censored]?

i dont see myself playing it any differently. You're shown K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] x [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A9, or something to that effect often enough that your turn and river calls are correct.

Why no turn three-bet?

Once youre raised on the flop, I dont like the three bet in this situation. Although you likely have the best hand, I think its better to call and wait for a non 9 and a non flush card on the turn and then either bet out or go for the check raise. I prefer betting out the turn since theres a chance the flop raiser is on the flush draw and a checkraise cant eliminate more people than betting. Even though you have two pair your hand is vulnerable and the strength of your hand will change significantly depending on the turn card. So just call flop raise and start fighting again on the turn as long as the wrong card doesnt hit. In the actually turn play I like your line, and I think calling down here is +ev.

were you just unsure on the river? the only thing that could have been differently was bet the river, call a raise. but i think you played it really well.

Villain is a lag fish, which doesn't make a 3bet all that bad imo.

You have to be ahead of a LAG fish 80%+ of the time here. Sure, he'll turn over K9 every once in awhile, but not 3-betting a player like this with 2 pair on a board like that is just leaving money on the table.

To be honest, I couldn't see him getting that far out of line on the turn after all that flop action.

Also, the other players folded, and a 3-bet wouldn't pad the pot like the flop raises.
