Wonderful job by Al C. jr in setting this all up. I had a great time. Some personal highlights:

--Getting my own "Brown Trout" chip from TT.

--Putting the first "rock straddle" into the game.

--Being outchipped 10-1 on the table by both Dynasty and Howard B.

--Chatting with Mason and Ed Miller.

--Photoc had to help me with a hand. Game just changed and I am dealt 5 cards. To me, this means Triple Draw Lowball. I see trips and go to fold, Photoc says; "No - its High". I don't understand, but call and draw 2. Guy bets at me and I still have trips. This is High Draw? Call and the hands are shown - I win. Thats it? Five cards down, only ONE draw, and played for high??? What friggin magoo invented THIS game?

Hope we have this event next year.

And thanks to you for being there for, as you said, all of our poker double entendre needs.

Lots of fun. Good job of cold-calling 4 bets with 8-3 off by many around the table. Now, when do I get my money back dammit.

Thanks to Al for setting this up, hope to do it again next year.

I just got back from my trip to LV.

I was one of the 3 magoos that showed up late and I sat next to AL.

1. Al was YOUNGER than I thought

1a. Al was drunker than i thought.

2. My move of the night was in 2-7 triple draw where i raised with a 97432 stood pat twice then drew a 5 on the third draw draw.

3. You guys all screwed up my home game in Michigan. The house rule is that if it is played in a casino it can be played at my house. (thanks guys) can anyone suggest a 2+2 book for tripple flop Omaha 8?

4. If you can make a chip castle in a 2-4 game, I guess you can survive for 4 years in las Vegas.

5. Flop props. red vs. black. very cool.

I wish we could have got there early. It was a lot of fun closing out the table. I was stuck 70 bux. had a blast.

Anytime, Jibbs...thanks for the seat 1 company and for teaching me all about Razz...never before have I found a game where you can start with such complete S^&*t, get more S^&*t, and somehow win the pot because your s^&*t isn't as bad as someone else's s^&*t

Here is my favorite hand for the trip, from the 2/4 HE Magoo game. I straddle UTG. It gets raised and reraised behind me. Matt Flynn caps it from the BB. I look down at AA and call. Five or six players to flop.

Flop comes 887, 2 diamonds. A bet and a raise go in. I forget who bet, but I put in the raise. Okay, nobody has an 8. Four or five players to turn.

Turn is 5d. I have Ad. A bet and one or two raises go in. Matt puts in the last raise. Okay, he has a flush. SB (DBowling), Matt and I see the river.

Matt has had plenty of alcohol at this point (he had half a bottle of wine at dinner and a double shot at MGM) and is starting to lose it. At one point he accidentally drops a nasty dirty blue chip in his beer. Then he drinks the beer and leaves the wet chip as a tip.

River is a 5, double-pairing the board. DBowling checks, Matt checks. WTF? I guess I have the best hand after all. Time for a VALUE BET! DBowling calls and Matt folds his Qd3d flush faceup. AA g00t! The table cracks up at Matt's monster laydown. "Felson's really tight," Matt explains. "And I'm drunk."
