I agree about "Man on Fire"
I thought it would be some crappy action flick, with Denzel in a role he shouldn't have been playing... but then it turns out to be a great movie, and he actually impressed me. My other great ones: American History X Dazed and Confused AntiTrust Suicide Kings

The clear answer here is Super Troopers, mainly due to the fact that the commercials mostly featured the worst jokes of the opening pull-over scene.
