Can't think of any that go this wat atm, but movies that looked amazing and were extremely dissapointing are very common.... The first trailer for Pearl Harbor was one of the best previews I've ever seen... Starship Troupers had a great preview and another great preview was Broken Arrow.

I LOVE Starship Troopers. I realize I am in the distinct minority here. There is simply too much sci-fi/Melrose Place actors/gratuitous nudity/facist militarism/Busey-factor/cheesy psuedo-gore/Neil Patrick Harris in this film to make me not love it.

I feel your pain. Starship Troopers was the 1st DVD I ever bought, and I love it to this day.

This is correct. But only the unrated version.

Is there anything better than the luscious Lauren Graham screaming "F**k me Sants, F**k me Santa!"

She's soooo totally hot.

The Matrix. All I remember from the ad is Keanu Reeves saying "Whoa". Easily the worst part of the movie. It was great seeing it with such low expectations though.

As opposed to the sequels
