Default 10/20 Hand

Playing 6 handed. PAHUD isn't working, so dont have stats in front of my face. From what I can tell though, button plays weird. Hes probably a 40 VPIP player, pretty aggressive PF, but not much so postflop. Also, he limps hands like Ax on the button(doesn't blind steal too much).
BB is probably kind of solid. Nothign really stands out.

I have 4c,4d

Button limps, I complete in the sb, bb checks.

Flop, 8s,2c,3h
I bet, call, call

Turn 8c
I bet, call, call

River Jh
I check...

2's, 3's, and possibly worse hands(depending how bad they are) will call a bet but usually check behind when you check. Checking lets them value bet their better hands against you.

the way i saw the hand. buttons range is A3,A2,some suited hands with 2 overs, 45, A5, A4, he also can have pocket pairs. Sb is pretty smart and he is not "overcalling" with Ax or a 2. He might even fold some 3s. Button or sb can be slowplaying an 8 to charge me 1 extra. I do not plan to fold if raised, because I think a missed draw is possible(unless its a call then a raise). I know im getting called by 3s and even by some 2s by button, but I thought inducing a bet, would be better? Also losing one less against an 8?

Who is slowplaying an 8 on that flop. Not the solid player thats for sure. People are a lot less likely to bluff in 3way pots on the river than they are to call, and a jack isnt raising this river either. This is a very standard river bet and not betting is a pretty large error.

easy river value bet. 2s 3s and aces call. It's unlikely anyone has an 8, and someone is betting a jack anyway but usually not raising with it. A4/A5 that flopped a gutshot are usually calling (maybe not overcalling)

Yep, agree.

But I dont know about the solid player. He calls twice with only low cards on board and no obvious draws. Raise or give up seems more normal.

my read at the time was anythign less than a pair of 3s, sb was not calling. button needs at least a pair of 2s to call. does that change anything?
